4240 received DESIGN AWARD HONORS from Senior Housing News for best Assisted Living building! Nestled against the rolling hills, The Village at White River Junction offers 80 units for seniors with assisted living and memory care needs offering hospitality-based amenities such as restaurant-style dining, a fireside bistro and Wi-Fi throughout the building, as well as a dog park, rooftop garden, cinema, spa, and gym.
“Seniors are more active later in life than at any other time in history,” Brooke Ciardelli told Vermont Business Magazine. “We are creating a kind of vertical main street that is a community within the community. Residents enjoy first-class, on-site amenities while having convenient access to historic, downtown White River where they can stroll through the community and enjoy shops, restaurants and even live theater.”
Ciardelli is President of Gates & Dickson, the project’s developer, which specializes in developing innovative, downtown, living communities for seniors.
